How to Mark Swimmer's Arms for Swim Meets

I have attached a document that shows an example of how to write your swimmer's events on their arm. (Please read the 'How to Read the Heat Sheet' document posted on this page).

Looking at the heat sheet there are 3 numbers you want to pay attention to. They are the event number, heat, and lane. You can write these three numbers on your swimmers arm so you, your swimmer, and clerk of course know what they are swimming.

It is normally written on the left arm in between the elbow and the wrist. Please write in SHARPIE!

How to Prepare/What to Bring to a Swim Meet

First, if you have a 10 & under, you will want to write your swimmer's first initial and full last name in SHARPIE on their right shoulder blade (on back).

Second, you will want to write your swimmer's events on their arm in SHARPIE. Instructions can be found on this page under 'How to Mark you Swimmer's Arms'

You will want to bring 2 towels, water, swim cap, swim suit, and goggles. Our team area at home meets will be the basketball court and it is extremely important that all swimmers (no matter what age) are there.
