Killer Whale Roster Descriptions
We provide the following 3 rosters. Kids may signup for one or both swim/mini & dive.
Please note: the youngest age group in our league is 8 & under.
In all cases, Coaches have the final decision on placement/readiness.
Killer Whales Dive - competition team for kids 5 years and older that can do a simple dive/pencil jump and swim unassisted to the ladder and willing to learn additional dives for meets (note: pencil dives are exhibition only, therefore divers are expected to learn additional dives thru the season).
Killer Whales Swim - kids 7 or older and 6 year olds that can swim a length unassisted.
Killer Whales are eligible to participate in 5 Dual meets and East Side and PPSL A Championships. To be eligible to participate in PPSL A champs, you must compete in 2 or more dual meets.
Mini Whales- kids 5 -7 with basic swim skills that can swim the width of the diving well twice. Kids can be added to this group as the season progresses. Minis swim one exhibition event at our home meets and are eligible for the Eastside Championships which usually includes a 6 &Under age group.
